The Information Regulator’s PAIA Guide explains how to use PAIA. It is available in all official South African languages on the Information Regulator’s website.

Records Available

  • Automatically Available: Website content, product listings, returns policy, shipping information.
  • Available on Request (Subject to PAIA):
    • Customer order records.
    • Financial records (e.g., invoices).
    • Employee records.
    • Supplier agreements.

Personal Information Processing (POPIA)

  • Data Subjects: Customers, employees, suppliers.
  • Types of Personal Information: Names, contact details, payment information, delivery addresses.
  • Purpose of Processing: Order fulfillment, customer support, marketing (with consent), compliance with legal obligations.
  • Security Measures: Encrypted payment systems, secure servers, access controls.

Request Procedure

To request access to records, complete Form 2 (available on the Information Regulator’s website) and submit it to support@theproteinfactory.co. Fees may apply as per PAIA regulations. The Information Officer will respond within 30 days.
